Hello friends, today i went for another walk. I went for a walk with my whole family, this is rare a lot of the time it just two of my older owners. Today we did my favourite walk, which is the sugarloaf trail we do this regularly.

The sugar loaf is located in county Wicklow and it is apart of the Wicklow Mountains. It stands out from the rest of the mountains in the area due to its conical or volcanic shape. The walk was 2.5km and took us around 2 hours which i thought was a perfect length not too long but not too short, i have quite small legs so i don't like super long walks.

The walk was very nice, the terrain was different to all there other walks i do, as it is a mountain track. It started off easy and gradually got harder as the walk went on. Towards the top of the track it go very sleep with a lot of loose rocks, i found this bit quite hard. One of my owners fell over but he was fine.

Once we reached the highest point of the walk which was at 500 meters we could see way out across wIcklow and some of Dublin. At some points we could even see the sea. It was beautiful. I heard one of my owners saying that the sugarloaf was made from Quartzite but most of the mountains in the west are actually made up of Granite.

One thing don't like about it though is that i have to stay on my lead. Its a rule that dogs have to be kept on leads on this trails however, i still really enjoyed this walk and i can't wait to do it again.
